A key aspect of success in tribal projects is the support of tribal leaders. The Sustainable Native Communities Collaborative is beginning to develop a curriculum for a Tribal Sustainability Leadership Institute. The Institute curriculum will be designed to bring together tribal leaders through a series of workshops with designers experienced in sustainable and community-based tribal projects. Tribal leaders will learn about sustainable, culturally appropriate design practices that can be implemented to reach your community’s sustainability goals. We will develop this curriculum by partnering with tribal universities and non-profits, as well as international indigenous leaders for sustainable development precedents in sovereign nations. We will base the Institutes regionally depending on level of interest, and we are looking for tribal leaders to partner with us to develop the curriculum. If you are interested please contact us.
